All of our products are handcrafted with "bamboo nails" embedded in them to fasten, so each can be disassembled and very sharp
Blade: This is a well-made folding steel katana that follows traditional Japanese craftsmanship. The blade was very sharp and folded 13 times for a total of 8,192 layers. The grain pattern visible on the blade comes from the repeated folding of the blade during the forging process. The blade is then heat treated, tempered and oil quenched for optimum flexibility and hardness, bright and sharp enough to cut fruit, bamboo, water bottles, etc.
Handle/Scabbard: Both the handle and scabbard are made of "solid wood".
